Our membership is open to British passport holders and spouses or partners of British passport holders. Despite the name, membership is open to partners of any gender or orientation.
Members can join a variety of interest groups and activities, as well as receive our monthly newsletter and benefit from exclusive discounts from our ‘Friends of BWC’.

Proof of British nationality (or your partner’s nationality) will be required, along with payment of r2500 (2021/2022 rates) before membership is approved. Please show this proof and make your payment to any committee member at one of our coffee mornings.
Our constitution can be supplied upon request. All members are required to adhere to the ‘Purpose of the BWC’ which is outlined below:
“The primary purpose of the BWC is that of a social club to welcome British women to Moscow, offering support and help with adapting to a new environment, provide social and cultural contacts amongst the British community, offer a focal point for sharing interests and organise social gatherings and activities.”
